Times Have Changed

Today is a beautiful day in Tokyo.

 

Our phrase for today is "times have changed".

 

This means that things are very different now than they used to be. 

 

Example 1

 

I remember when I was a kid, the only thing we did was play in the yard. We didn't have any computer games and no smart phones. Boy, times have changed. 

 

Example 2

 

Everyone used to get a job for life. Nowadays, people work at one place for a few years and then move on to the next job. Times have sure changed.
